Trained and raised in Brighton, England I eventually ended up living and working Sydney. During my 17 years teaching PE I’ve worked in a number of schools in 3 different countries and witnessed some excellent practitioners from whom I have learnt as much as possible. However, I realise that this profession continues to evolve and I want to try to keep up where possible.
My main aim is to ensure the pupils are engaged and having fun in class and from there the learning will come naturally. I am well aware that we can learn from everyone, whether it be the Head of Department who has been in the business 40 years, the practicum teacher you’re supervising or the kids in your classroom.
This blog is about experimenting, sharing experiences and continually striving to improve in an attempt to push Health and Physical Education forward.
